Portrait of a troll Maya, mental ray, Photoshop July 2007
A troll i made as a school project. I started learning 3d ten months ago so this was my first bigger project. I also used mudbox for some of the details. For the lighting i used 3 directional lights and one spotligt. Rendertime on my old computer: 10 min. The background is added in photoshop. A lot of The design is inspired by a drawing made by the great swedish artist Alvaro Tapia.
